The West Michigan Wolves took 2 games over the weekend against division rivals Wooster Oilers. Dakota Ulmer led the way on Friday night with 2 goals and Bear Ross notched the eventual game winner at 11:53 of the second period. Sam Woznicki played big in the net for the Wolves stopping 32 of the 33 shots he faced. Saturday afternoon game was another close one that came down to the last few seconds. The Wolves opened the scoring 1:48 in the first period with Nick Guy notching his 3rd of the season. Wooster tied the game 49 seconds into the 3rd period with a power play goal. With 5 seconds left in the game Dakota Ulmer took a feed from Bear Ross and buried it under the crossbar for the game winner. The Wolves outshot Wooster 38-29 and Alex Wilder played another strong game in the pipes.
West Michigan Wolves travel to play Metro Jets this Saturday and Sunday.
