The Lansing Wolves just made a very needed add to their squad. The Wolves inked power forward Garrett Weyh from South Lyon HS. Garrett comes from a solid background having played many years in the Little Caesars program where he excelled. After moving on to his High School he garnered a couple very prestigious awards in the Maisono award given to the person who most exhibited leadership. Also Garrett raked in the award he personally coveted in the Wisti award annually given to the hardest working player.
Garrett’s hardworking style is exactly a needed quality in what Coach Lawrence stated “having built in grit makes us enormously more hard to play against”. The 6’4 185lb smooth skating winger is also a lifelong friend with the already signed defensemen from Milford, Michael Osinski and in the kids words “that’s very cool”. The scouting staff notes “Garrett’s style of play will be a hit with the Wolves faithful, energetic with a distinct edge, add goal scoring capabilities to the mix makes us smile”
Garrett recently stated “it is going to be really cool playing with one of my best friends but most importantly getting back at it makes me super excited”
Garrett’s long range goals are next level opportunities and then college.
The Wolves would like to welcome Dad Herb, Mom Kim and Sister McKenzie to the family
