Late goal helps the Wolves defeat the Oilers 2-1

Dakota Ulmer scored the game winning goal late in the game as the West Michigan Wolves defeat the the Wooster Oilers 2-1 in a home game at Alice Noble Ice Arena in West Michigan. What's more, the West Michigan Wolves' offense had a big night, peppering Wooster with 39 shots throughout the game. Dakota Ulmer chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Thomas Harrison contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
In the first period, Zenone opened the scoring for the Oilers with a goal at 13:18 with helpers from his teammates Barney and Tasker.
In the second, Harrison finally put the Wolves on the board with a goal at 12:14 with helpers from Bloomfield and Ulmer.
During the third, Ulmer netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:47 with assists from Bloomfield and Harrison.

West Michigan’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Woznicki’s big night as he stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced. Woznicki’s counterpart, Furber, also had a big night, managing to stop 37 of 39, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the West Michigan Wolves’ record to (42-40-2-4)
