LANSING WOLVES WEEKEND RECAP: NOV 4th & 5th

Tough weekend in Wooster-

The Lansing Wolves made the trek to the rival Wooster Oilers this past weekend. The results were unkind to the Wolves on Saturday the Wolves went down to defeat by a 1-2 count. The offense was on a goal scored by Brendan Smith with assists from Jake Redman and Noah Pipper. Despite the strong effort of goaltender Sean Finstrom with a solid 24 save effort. The Wolves were unable to solve the Oilers goalie by pounding 26 shots on the netminder.

The Sunday matinee was more of the same as the Wolves went down by a 2-3 score. The offense was from Branden Ashley and Pipper. Chipping in was Garrett Daum with 2 assists. Will Ignatovich made 25 saves in the loss.

The Wolves continue the campaign playing a single game against the division leading Metro jets on Saturday night before embarking on a long overdue home stretch of 4 straight home games against the Southern Tier Express. Stay tuned for further updates.
