Vegas Connection

The Vegas Connection-

With an unlikely backdrop the Lansing Wolves proud member of the NA3HL have made 2 significant signings. Brenden Fehlig is a transplanted Michigander who’s family made the big move to the desert Mecca known as Las Vegas. The 1999 birthdate Forward is a skilled, very good skating and hardworking sort. He excels not only on the ice but in the classroom to boot. With 3 generations of a great hockey playing family backing him, Brenden states “it sure is exciting to be playing back in Michigan for the Wolves and in front of my extended family again”. Brenden’s long term goals are to achieve college opportunities wherever the path leads.

The Wolves scouting staff notes “Brenden is going to be counted on to take a very significant role, we see an extremely high ceiling in him for this team and beyond”.

Coach Mark Lawrence notes “Brenden came here out of the blue and earned his stripes, we see great things moving forward”.

The 2nd in the Vegas connection is Cameron Zucker this 2000 birth year Forward who stood out at a showcase earlier this spring. On his own accord and in no small part to the work ethic and obvious skills needless to say we were fascinated. That was only the 1st day. After viewing him compete for the 3rd day the  Wolves scouting staff made the necessary and quite easy decision to offer Cameron a NA3HL tender agreement.

Cameron comes from a very elite pedigree in his hockey family. His father Scott runs the rapidly growing youth programs in Las Vegas, he also has 2 brothers who coach bantam hockey in Las Vegas. Cameron also has an older brother with a certain pedigree that being NHL Minnesota Wild Forward Jason Zucker.

Camerons goals are to move up the hockey ladder and go the college route. A hockey trait Cameron carries, he is as adept in the classroom as well as on the ice.

The Scouting staff notes “having the tools that Cameron has we are ecstatic to welcome him aboard, his high hockey IQ and motor will be fun to watch”

Coach Lawrence stated “He is exactly the kind of kid we want here with our program in Lansing”. Add to the fact that he and Brenden are best pals. This is a great stepping stone for the kids and we will make sure of that.

With high caliber kids like these 2 needless to say we think we struck gold.

The Wolves would officially like to welcome our Vegas connection, Dave Fehlig and entire family. Scott Zucker and his family.

We believe we have a royal flush in these 2.
